1. General information
The main goal of the subject is that future French language teachers have a practical mastery of to teach French, as well as to teach other subjects in French in bilingual centers. This subject is especially related to Communication orale et écrite, as both aim to provide a linguistic base , which is complemented by the didactic orientation of the other subjects of the mention. To this end, will develop the competencies described in level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
These approaches and goals are aligned with the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Goal 4: Quality Education. Target 4.7.
Goal 5: Gender Equality. Goal 5.1.
It is recommended that the student has acquired a communicative competence equivalent to level B1+ of French language according to the CEFR in order to take the subject.
2. Learning results
In order to pass this subject, the students shall demonstrate they has acquired the following results:
1. Know the phonological system of the French language and establish comparisons with the phonological system of Spanish.
2. Produces speeches in French with clear and natural pronunciation and intonation.
3. Knows the vocabulary related to the most general areas and especially the vocabulary that a primary school student should acquire.
4. Knows the grammatical system of the French language and knows how to apply it to their written and oral productions without making systematic errors.
5. Communicates in French with a degree of spontaneity and fluency that allows him/her to express him/herself clearly on topics related to his/her centers of interest, as well as to participate actively in conversations developed in familiar situations.
6. Knows the spelling rules of the French language.
7. Conveys information in writing on a wide range of topics related to their centers of interest, as well as arguing for or against a given point of view.

4. Academic activities
The methodology designed for this subject is based on the following:
. Imparting the contents of the subject program.
. Practical application of the contents both orally and in writing.
. Active participation by the student in the proposed activities and communicative situations.
. Face-to-face and non face-to-face completion of tasks and activities.
In addition, the following activities will be carried out to achieve the learning outcomes:
. Theoretical and practical classes on French language aspects of the program.
. Participation and creation of individual and group activities.
. Search for materials and resources.
. Student presentations.
5. Assessment system
First call
a) Continuous assessment:
1. Activities and practical work on the contents developed in the classroom sessions: 30%.
2. Directed work on one of the proposed readings, written and presented orally in French: 20% (10%: work, 10%: exhibition).
3. Written test on the contents of the program (25%).
4. Oral test consisting of oral comprehension and production in French at CEFR level B2: (25%).
It is necessary to obtain at least a 5/10 in both tests to be considered in the final grade. Otherwise, the studentmust take the global evaluation and pass the corresponding test(s) to pass the subject.
b) Overall assessment:
1. Written test on the contents of the program: 50%.
2. Oral test consisting of oral comprehension and production in French at CEFR level B2: 50%. It is necessary to obtain at least a 5/10 in both tests to pass the subject.
Second call
Global evaluation, the same as in the first call.
Fifth and sixth calls
The fifth and sixth call will be evaluated with the same activities and with the same requirements that appear in the section on the second call.
Assessment criteria:
- Written test: communicative ability, grammatical correctness and lexical variety and richness.
- Oral test: comprehension skills, pronunciation, intonation, fluency, as well as grammatical correctness and lexical richness.
Finally, it must be taken into account that the Regulations of the Norms of Coexistence of the University of Zaragoza will be applicable to the irregularities committed in the evaluation tests by means of academic fraud, as well as the application of article 30 of the Regulations of the Norms of Evaluation of Learning in relation to irregular practices other than academic fraud.
